I would say the Indianapolis Colts don’t really scare anyone heading into the NFL playoffs, as their performances in December left a lot to be desired. However, the last three Super Bowl champions all had at least 6 losses, so it really doesn’t matter all that much. The Indianapolis Colts, if they run the table this month would truly represent the “just get in” mentality that epitomizes what the NFL playoffs are today.
These days it’s basically March Madness, one and done, seeding doesn’t matter and anything can happen.

The Chiefs are an example of what a difference a coach makes. They had nine Pro Bowlers but still went 3-13 and had the #1 pick in draft last year. Today they’re 11-5 and in the AFC Divisionals. “started from the bottom, now we here!”
โKansas City showed great heart against the Chargers to play the way that they did, but Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts right now have been playing as well as anybody. Going into Kansas City, I know how tough that is to try and go in there and get a win. The fact that the Colts have that one under their belt is going to really way in their favor.โ – Cris Collinsworth
โAndy Reid has got to figure out a way to put pressure on Andrew Luck. Luck is going to be the offense. Kansas Cityโs got to get pressure to stop them. I like Indy at home. I think Luck has a field day.โ โ Tony Dungy
โIf you look at Indianapolis, theyโre an OK teamโฆBut I truly believe that Indy, with that previous win (against Kansas City), it actually hurt them because now Kansas City is very familiar with them. They (Kansas City) are going to come in and theyโre going to beat them.โ โ Rodney Harrison
Brutally honest record: 78-35
Brutally honest pick: Indianapolis Colts 29, K.C. Chiefs 27
Indianapolis Colts have the home field advantage, and I think it will be enough to get them on to the next round.
