It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Britney Spears. As if it we didn’t have enough material for the Britney Spears – Elvis Presley analogies, she’s been busy with that extended run doing shows in Las Vegas. Therefore, she’s been more local than national lately. Brit hasn’t made the headlines much lately, at least not by her standards, except for the rumors that she’s gained 30 pounds since making the move to Sin City.
Well, if true, that only means there’s more Britney Spears to love. And you gotta love someone who makes unintentionally hilarious comments about their own sexuality when being interviewed on radio stations.
This week Spears took time out of her performing schedule to make the short trip to the Staples Center in Los Angeles and apparently her son is a huge fan of the L.A. Kings.
Britney Spears and her son Jayden James Federline attended game two of the 2014 NHL Stanley Cup Final.
And according to the Kings Twitter account, she bought the house of former Kings player Russ Courtnall. Britney Spears was also featured on the Staples Center jumbotron that night, when the Kings won 5-4 in exciting (although not quite as exciting as how America reacted when Spears released her steamy, controversial music video for her song “Criminal”), double overtime fashion.
They also won game 1 in overtime, putting them up 2-0 as the series shifts to New York. Just two more wins and the Kings will have their second cup in three years.
