There will be a ton of Ohio State players selected in April’s NFL Draft. Quite a few will go in the first round. You can argue a case for about a dozen guys on the current Buckeyes roster who should be first round picks in whatever year they come out. Wide Receiver Michael Thomas is definitely one of those guys.
Michael Thomas has size, speed, separation, ability to win contested situations, ball skills, great at 50/50 balls, scouting buzzword XYZ, Todd McShay catch-phrase ABC, Draftnik cliche 123, insert Mel Kiper Jr phrase here.
Take a look at the video of his touchdown this morning that put Ohio State up 7-0

This game is ESPN’s national window selection for the morning slot, and hence a lot of people are watching. Michael Thomas then became a top ten trending term nationally on Twitter. Also watching this game are a lot of NFL scouts. There are representatives from seven teams here: Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers.
