The Florida Gators were turned in regarding NCAA violations by their former head coach Urban Meyer. As you know, Meyer now leads the Ohio State Buckeyes. Current Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp opened his SEC Media Day session today by returning fire. He not only slammed Ohio State, but he also condescendingly referred to them as “Ohio.”
The Florida Gators leader also took a subtle dig at Ohio State for their own NCAA infraction and scandal. It’s not just Florida Gators fans but also Wolverines supporters who enjoyed Muschamp referring to them as Ohio.ย We know Brady Hoke loved that!
“That’s really a dead issue with me,” Muschamp said at SEC media days โ but then he kept talking about the so-called “dead issue.”
“In both situations we were turned in by Ohio. We didn’t do anything wrong. The University of Florida didn’t do anything wrong. And so we appreciated our friends from Ohio making sure we’re compliant with NCAA rules.
“They certainly know a little bit about that subject.”
Yes Ohio State certainly does. The Buckeyes are currently on NCAA probation for the Terrelle Pryor tattoo scandal committed under Jim Tressel and his minions; Ohio State was banned from postseason play last fall, the program’s first under former Florida Gators coach Urban Meyer.
Ohio State has turned in the Florida Gators for two secondary violations since the hypocritical and not-so-clean Meyer joined THE Ohio State university.
