Update: Royal Palace release statement, denouncing racism and sexism as they confirm existence of Prince Harry relationship with Meghan Markle.
Flashing back to October 5th of 2013, you might recall seeing some Rachel Markle signs on ESPN College Gameday when the circus-like show came to Northwestern. There were two of these signs on the set in Evanston, and both were prominently featured in a primo spot behind Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and company.
Why are we bringing this up now? Well, this post keeps popping back up in our highest viewed URLs everyday. (We’ll get to why that is in a minute)
So who is this Rachel Markle?
You know her better as Meghan Markle, and yes, she’s a Northwestern alum.
Markle is an actress from the Show “Suits” on USA.
Rachel Markle is also formerly the model who held case #24 on the game show “Deal or No Deal” and her credits also include playing FBI special agent Amy Jessup in FOX’s sci-fi thriller “Fringe.”
The 35-year-old, who was born Rachel Meghan Markle in Los Angeles, California also guest starred on the following TV shows: “Without a Trace,” “CSI: NY,” “Knight Rider,” “90210,” “Til Death.”
This week, she’s breaking the internet as the real life love interest of Prince Harry.
We’ll have more on that in a forth-coming post soon.
The actress’s film credits include, “Horrible Bosses,” with Jennifer Aniston & Jason Bateman, “Universal’s “Remember Me,” with Rob Pattinson, “Get Him to the Greek,” “A Lot Like Love,” and “Deceit.”
Meghan Markle separated from her husband in May of 2013.
I have no idea why not one, but two people attending the Gameday broadcast felt the need to make “Rachel Zane” signs, or Meghan Markle signs, but I do know that at Northwestern she was a double major of Theater and International Relations.
