New York is a tough crowd, Tim Tebow is learning. I guess Mark Sanchez has more support than we all thought.
The new backup quarterback for the New York Jets was loudly booed at Yankee Stadium Sunday night when he was shown on the jumbotron- despite the fact that he was sporting a New York Yankees cap.
Sitting in the third row next to the Los Angeles Angels dugout (you know the thousand dollar seats that God himself cannot afford), Tebow cracked a smile and acknowledged the camera. There was a small smattering of cheers, but most of the initial reactions were very loud boos.
So much for that old cliche that the backup QB is the most popular guy on the team- at least not in Gotham.
