With the 21st pick, the Green Bay Packers selected safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix of Alabama. Uncharacteristic of the Packers picking a guy that everybody expected them to pick; but why not? A safety was an obvious need in Green Bay and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix was, arguably, the best one available.
This pick by the Packers does not solve all of their defensive woes, but itโs a great start. That big gap next to safety Morgan Burnett is now filled.
Okay, so you’ve already heard the news about Ha Ha, but here’s something you didn’t know. See the Twitpic below from one of Bleacher Report’s NFL writers:

Wow! That was tweeted over three weeks ago. Coincidence? Or was the Ha Ha Clinton-Dix plan in the cards all along? Ha Haโs speed and athleticism are not outstanding, but his size, toughness, and smarts make up for his deficiencies.
His head for the game makes him quick to read and react and he is not afraid of contact. He did well at Alabama in a pro-style defense and with some work in the off-season; his skills and ability should transfer nicely to the pro level. Donโt expect him to be a pro-bowler the second he steps on the field, but he should be a solid starter in week one.
