For the time being, Jordan Lynch is a member of the Chicago Bears. The NIU quarterback, who hails from Chicago, will attempt to make a professional football career in the same general area where he starred playing both his high school and college football.
Lynch signed as a free agent and a Bears press release says Jordan Lynch is a running back. I guess that works since Jordan Lynch broke the single game record for rushing yards by a quarterback this season; then the broke it again.
Coach Rod Carey said he doesn’t know yet who replaces Jordan Lynch but he did say there will not be a two QB system. NIU backups Drew Hare and Matt McIntosh will battle it out with Anthony Maddie and incoming three-star signee Landon Root to replace Jordan Lynch.
