People in Chicago take the Chicago Bears quite seriously. Many businesses try really hard to leech off of the team’sย popularity and also bask in their reflected glory.
We all hate spam. Hate it. Especially when it comes from a list we never signed up for in the first place. I received an email with “CHICAGO FOOTBALL IS BACK” in my inbox. It was in ALL CAPS to denote that it’s IMPORTANT and I must STOP WHATEVER I’M DOING RIGHT NOW AND READ IT.
Inside the message was the real estate agent’s picture, name, phone number and email address. Along with this graphic:
I wonder what the Chicago Bears would think of this blatant attempt to capitalize off them; with a business that has absolutely nothing to do with NFL team. I didn’t bother to out the name of the real estate agent or the realty firm because why should I give them any free publicity? Especially after they pulled off something this pathetic and stupid? And isn’t that child labor exploitation too? Just awful all around.
