Thirteen NFL players join Carrie Underwood for her performance of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,” the opening theme for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Two of those 13 are from the Green Bay Packers; none from the Chicago Bears. The Packers are the only team to have more than one player in the intro vid.
The theme is brought to you by Verizon, sponsored by Verizon. Because Verizon makes the NFL and your life better. VERIZON! VERIZON! VERIZON!
Only NBC would sell out their broadcast opening theme.
Carrie Underwood made her debut last night on the first SNF broadcast of the 2013 NFL season as the Dallas Cowboys beat their NFC East rival New York Giants on the evening of September 8th.
