You’ve heard a lot about the Washington football team name change debate. It’s been one of the dominating story-lines this NFL offseason. It really should have been changed a long time ago. This shouldn’t have to be all on Daniel Snyder. I’ll stop opining on the topic right there. I’ve written plenty on that topic already. How about someone who works for/used to work for the team?
What does Antwaan Randle El think?
Randle El, the only WR ever to throw a touchdown pass in a Super Bowl actually, gave a speech tonight at an Indiana University booster/alumni event. It was a private event held at Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago.
At the event, I had an exclusive with him where we talked Washington football team, the name change debate, and previewed the upcoming NFL season for both of Randle El’s former teams.
Have a listen below:
He doesn’t really come out and blatantly say what side he’s on, but if you read between the lines you can figure it out. Like I said, this topic isn’t going away any time soon. Be sure to check out this speech Randle El gave at the IU event. It’s got a funny joke about how white Indiana University is, and some great inspirational messages
