Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks and Malcolm Smith. The game was incredibly boring and the commercials very lackluster. But at least we have this:
Smith’s postgame Super Bowl conference was briefly interrupted by a random 9/11 truther, who grabbed the microphone and told everyone to investigate the attacks on September 11th, saying they were “perpetrated by people within our own government.”
No, it wasn’t Rashard Mendenhall.
Yes, I’ll take “9/11 was an inside job” conspiracy nutjob for the win. It did surpass the most interesting portions of the evening, which had been Joe Namath’s God’s Waiting Room style pimp suit and some Coca-Cola I missed which is supposed to be jingoist, racist, xenophobic and all kinds of bad.
But, hey the night belongs to the Seahawks
