On Monday, June 10, the Chicago Bulls will hold an official groundbreaking ceremony for the team’s brand new practice facility. The Chicago Bulls new facility will be located in the United Center’s Parking Lot J, which sits just east of the arena across from South Wood Street
Between Monroe and Madison Streets, Chicago Bulls representatives will be joined by local community leaders for the historic event. The current Chicago Bulls practice facility, the Berto Center, is located in upscale suburban Deerfield.
The Berto Center isn’t all that far from downtown; and the epicenter of the Chicago Bulls fanbase. However, it’s quite the hike when you factor in how awful traffic can be on the Edens; sometimes. This will be much more convenient. And a much better set-up for the Bulls. It’ll be similar to the Chicago Blackhawks set-up. The Hawks obviously share the UC with the Bulls. And have a practice facility right nearby with “Johnny’s Ice House.”
I’m sure all of the Chicago Bulls players and staff will enjoy the new upgrade.
