The Chicago White Sox honored the Boston Red Sox signature song, “Sweet Caroline” today at U.S. Cellular Field. The upbeat tune by Neil Diamond has been a Fenway Park staple for many years. Soxman and I sang along with the rest of the ballpark.
Boston Strong baby! #BStrong!
Earlier in the day, Diamond himself made an unannounced appearance to sing his uplifting diddy to the Fenway crowd. On a day like today, all our Sox are the same color. It’s not just White Sox or Red Sox.
“hand touching hand. reaching out. touching me. touching you.”
Uhm, excuse me I need to get my hand sanitizer out now. All this hand touching I need my disinfectant wipes. But I really love the song. And I really love the vibe today in ballparks all across America. We are all Americans. We are all Patriots. We are all Bostonians.
