What the hell is this? And what does it do? I guess it’s supposed to be the new Marlins Park home run statue. I’m not sure what it does when the Marlins take one yard, light up?
It’s Rainbow Brite meets trippy acid flashback meets bad carinval ride meets Salvador Dali surrealism, already as it is.

And he has a good YouTube video you should watch, touring the new Marlins Park, built on the old Orange Bowl site in Little Havana. It should be interesting for former Chicago White Sox manager and ace of the staff Mark Buerhle, as they’re re-united in Miami. I wonder that they’ll think of what the team did to Billy the Marlin mascot.
They gave him a rainbow mascot, which now makes him look like a marketer for the Gay Games, or the founder of Reading Rainbrow. Not that there’s anything wrong with either of those things.
