Some of the first games of the Spring Training season start this Thursday and The SportsBank.net will be in Arizona, catching some Cactus League action!
Look for a synopsis on early-season play from the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Cincinnati Reds and Seattle Mariners. You can’t make any solid predictions based solely on the first few games, but we’ll give you our opinions on players’ potential, team’s position depth and team’s pitching rotations.
Most notably, I’ll be sharing with you my inaugural Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training experience. It is one thing to be a Brewers fan your whole life. (Insert comment here). It is another to finally head to Maryvale, Arizona and Spring Training after all those years. During the month of March, check back each day for new photos and in-depth information, as well as some fun tidbits on what the whole experience is like.
You can also follow us on Twitter @TheSportsBank or @MilwBrewersBeat. Thank you for following us and please join our conversation early and often.
Tomorrow, we take our first look at what has changed for Milwaukee in the off-season, who is competing for a spot on the 40-man roster and what matters (aside from talent) when it comes to snagging a spot in the Brewers’ starting pitching rotation.
