Tottenham Hotspur got to take in a game with the Chicago Cubs. They were guests of honor at Wrigley Field. Here is the photo collection.
Twenty year old forward Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspurย threw out a ceremonial first pitch the other nightย at Wrigley Field before the Cubs took on the San Diego Padres. The event is leading up to Spurs’ international friendly against the Chicago Fire at Toyota Park Saturday, July 26.
He, along with Michael Dawson, also exchanged shirts with MLB All-Star Anthony Rizzo.
The Spurs have something in common with the Chicago Cubs of MLB. Both play in a historic and colorful stadium (Wrigley Field and White Hart Lane) located smack dab in a neighborhood in a huge, thriving metropolis. Hence, I know a few Cubs fans here who also happen to be Tottenham Hotspur supporters.
Makes sense.
