Peterman company was founded in 1987 by entrepreneur John Peterman. From 1997-1998, the most popular show on television at the time, Seinfeld, parodied the owner and the company with goofy businessman, world adventurer and Elaine’s boss J. Peterman, played by John O’Hurley.
O’Hurley will serve as emcee when Chicago Cubs pitcher and non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor Jon Lester host NVRQT Night at Metro Chicago Thursday, August 13. The night will include a 3 Up, 3 Down event, a version of “Hollywood Squares.” Jon and his wife Farrah will be joined join Cubs players Anthony Rizzo and David Ross, former Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster, Chicago native and former WWE wrestler CM Punk, comedian from E!’s “Chelsea Lately” Sarah Colonna, along with other celebrities, coaches and teammates, as contestants during the event.
