Manchester United and Mexican National Team forward Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez talks one-on-one with media personality Andrés Cantor about his life, his present on the pitch, his long distance relationship with his native Mexico, and his family.
“Titulares Telemundo” presents an exclusive interview with Chicharito this Sunday, October 6 at 10C.
Chicharito sat down with the Emmy award winning Cantor in Manchester to speak at length about how he manages his performance on the soccer field, his day-to-day life in England and how it affects his relationship with his native country as he defends the colors of Mexico.
Chicharito is one of the most renowned and successful Mexican soccer players today with a distinguished career that dates back to his professional debut with his hometown Chivas in 2006.
Chicharito’s prowess scoring goals in Guadalajara caught the attention of some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs and allowed him to make his debut for Manchester United four years later in 2010.
Hernandez quickly became a fan favorite with clutch goals in key junctures for a championship team. However, Hernandez is currently going through one of the toughest moments of his career as he attempts to crack United’s starting lineup while facing harsh criticism as one of the faces of Mexico’s struggle to qualify for the 2014 World Cup
