Phil Neville- Jose Mourinho won’t stay very long at the Theatre of Dreams
Eric Cantona- Mourinho is not Manchester United and Pep Guardiola would have been a better fit.
“I think it is a good wedding [with Man United] because Mourinho really knows the Premier League well,” Carlo Ancelotti told the Daily Telegraph. “He is one of the best coaches in the world and Manchester United at this moment need someone who can improve what they did in the last two years with Louis van Gaal.
“There are different opinions about the job of Van Gaal, no? My opinion is that he arrived in a moment when he needed to rebuild a team after Rio Ferdinand, after [Paul] Scholes, after [Ryan] Giggs, after Ferguson and it takes time.”
“I don’t know just yet who will be our coach, but it looks it could be an interesting derby,” said Bastian Schweinsteiger to a group of reporters at Germany training camp.
He added: “Should Mourinho join Manchester United…I believe everyone would love to be coached by Mourinho…then it will be something special.”
