When Arsenal and AC Milan get together tomorrow night, for the Dubai Super Cup clash (actually, it’s just a club friendly, don’t let the name fool you) it will be the ninth meeting between the two sides.
Arsenal have won four of the previous meetings, Milan two, with the end result being a stalemate twice. The Gunners are getting more of their players back, from the World Cup break, but there will still be plenty of them missing out here.

The following footballers Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale (England), Granit Xhaka (Switzerland), Takehiro Tomiyasu (Japan) and Gabriel Martinelli (Brazil) have all seen their national teams eliminated, and now they’ll go on holiday, after having completed their international duty.
William Saliba (France) is the only Arsenal player still competing for his country in Qatar.
Given all that we know about the players who are still unavailable because of the World Cup, and the squad fitness situation (more on that at this link), this below is probably the strongest team Mikel Arteta can go with here.
Or at the least starting squad that we think he will go with.
