Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is doing 2018 World Cup commentary for RT, the Kremlin supported television network. The tournament kicks off a week from tomorrow, and ahead of the world’s most anticipated sporting event, Mourinho made his group stage predictions.
Mourinho picked the winner and second place finisher of each grouping, and he did so with his squad (and showing a sense of humor) in mind.
“It’s very difficult, I don’t want to be emotional but I have to be,” said Mourinho. “I want my players to win but I also want my players to go on holiday.”

He wants to see his manager-on-the-pitch, holding midfielder Nemanja Matic, and his Serbian national team make an early exit.
“I need Matic to go on holiday so Switzerland to finish second. I’m sorry Nemanja but you need a holiday,” the Portugese added.
Matic, who Mourinho also coached at Chelsea, featured 48 times this past season, second most on the team to only Romelu Lukaku.
