These are extremely trying times at Tottenham Hotspur and it likely won’t get any better when they take on Liverpool this weekend. Before that comes a UCL mid-week group stage clash against Red Star Belgrade.
It’s a must win for Spurs as Saturday’s 1-1 draw with winless Watford means they now have just one win in their last seven across all competition. Since the opening day of the season, Spurs have just two wins in 11 games. They are heavily favored to win at home on Tuesday night as they will take on a very overmatched side, but if they don’t, an early exit from the UCL is in the cards.
Let’s take a look at who manager Mauricio Pochettino may select, in an effort to stop that from happening.

Even with all the turmoil and poor form recently, Spurs have enough of a talent and depth advantage to get a result here. The chances here are much better than against Liverpool next weekend.
