Daniel Levy is the managing director of ENIC International Ltd an investment company, sports, entertainment and media group. Levy replaced Lord Alan Sugar as chairman of Tottenham Hotspur in February 2001 after ENIC bought a controlling stake in the club. Tottenham arrive in Chicago today, and they were to kick off their tour of the city by joining in a ceremonial bell-ringing at the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
Chicago Fire COO Atul Khosla and Tottenham Executive Chairman Daniel Levy were to headline the participating delegation set to ring the closing bell.
However, now it’s been cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and CBOE will explore potential options for a future event. However, Tottenham forward Harry Kane will throw out a ceremonial first pitch tonight at Wrigley Field as the Chicago Cubs take on the San Diego Padres.
And of course The Fire will host the Spurs in an international friendly on Saturday, July 26 at 7 p.m. Central (ESPN2/ESPN Deportes) at Toyota Park.
