While Tottenham Hotspur have yet to win a trophy under manager Mauricio Pochettino, the Argentine has significantly improved the club during his tenure. Spurs were the last team standing between the Premier League champions and their silverware in 2015-16 and 2016-17, and the north London side has finished in the top three the past three seasons.
Today, the club announced that Pochettino has been rewarded for his good work, with a new contract extension that will keep him on the job until 2023.

Said Daniel Levy, Club Chairman, in regards to Pochettino’s new five year deal:

Mauricio Pochettino himself said: “I am honored to have signed a new long-term contract as we approach one of the most significant periods in the Club’s history and be the manager that will lead this team into our new world-class stadium.”
