Legendary soccer coach Sir Alex Ferguson believes his star player Ryan Giggs will stay with Manchester United anther season. “he will play for another year … there are no discerning signs of tiredness or weakness in his game,” the club manager told SI.
The soon to be 40 Giggs looked great in the Red Devils’ 1-0 win over West Ham in Wednesday’s third-round replay in the FA Cup at Old Trafford, quieting the critics who think he might be over the hill.
Ferguson says “his quality is still there and he has fantastic balance. He has the appetite for it and he is just an incredible human being.”
Giggs has played with United his entire career; the midfielder has won 12 English Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two Champions League trophies withthe team.
