The last thing Newcastle United need right now is to play Manchester City. The Geordies have been in free fall for awhile now, and when it comes to a “get right game,” the least likely opponent for that is the reigning treble winners.
While City have shown, especially lately, that they’re vulnerable (at times) this season, getting a draw against them still feels like a victory for most opposition. For the men of Eddie Howe, getting a stalemate here would have to feel like a victory.
