Manchester United hosts Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in a battle of two big six clubs headed in opposite directions. Tottenham have won four of their last five while United continue to wallow in the mire. With their title (and soon maybe top four) hopes becoming a funeral pyre (apologies to the estate of Jim Morrison on that).
United, yet again, seem to have thrown a lot of money at players who simply can’t live up to their expectations.
