Adnan Januzaj is a misfit at Manchester United and the club has been fielding offers for the Belgian winger this summer transfer window. The Red Devils outcast has been linked with several clubs, so there are plenty of suitors out there. Januzaj is all over the news today with multiple outlets claiming different stages of progress in a potential deal.
The Daily Mail write that “Real Sociedad have agreed a £10 million fee with Manchester United for Adnan Januzaj, which could end the winger’s tumultuous time at Old Trafford.”
The Daily Record take a step back from that claim publishing their belief that “Real Sociedad are frontrunners to land him.” The Record also mentions that Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side have been linked with Januzaj this summer.
Meanwhile, ESPN FC writes that “Manchester United are considering a number of offers for Adnan Januzaj, including one from Real Sociedad.”
All three of these posts were updated at more or less the same time, which was about three hours ago, so that’s the latest news as of right now. Januzaj spent last season away from United on loan at Sunderland, who were relegated from the Premier League. He obviously wouldn’t be getting first team football at Old Trafford this season, so a move elsewhere would be beneficial and perhaps Sociedad is that place.
