Julia Roberts, the legendary Hollywood actress and producer, was in west London to see her favorite club, Manchester United lose 1-0 at Chelsea today. After the game, Roberts took to the pitch and greeted some of the players, no doubt lifting their spirits somewhat after what was such a disappointing result in a big time crunch clash.
The Daily Mail, perfectly encapsulated the appearance of Julia Roberts:
The statuesque Hollywood star cut an effortlessly chic figure in a thigh length black pea-coat, attaching a red poppy pin to her lapel as a nod to Remembrance Sunday.
Meeting some of Manchester’s beaten players, the actress brought a smile back to the faces of some of the players including Spaniards Juan Mata and David De Gea.

This isn’t the first time Roberts has dropped in on her favorite team, nor is it the first time she’s watched a league fixture in person. Last November, the Hollywood A-lister watched the Red Devils 1-1 home draw with West Ham and took a tour of Old Trafford.
It caused quite the big social media stir when Julia Roberts gave Paul Pogba a kiss.
In July, Julia Roberts dropped in on United’s training camp while they were working out at University of California-Los Angeles.
Her photo with Juan Mata shared on social media really went viral.
