It’s another New Year, and with it, another January transfer window opens. And we’re hitting the ground running on that with some more Manchester United transfer talk. In the past 24 hours, we’ve given you a triple threat of United transfer talk, as we cover Jadon Sancho and Sergio Reguilon here.
Hey, whatever takes your thoughts away from yet another humiliation, this time due to Nottingham Forest. Part two covers Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, meanwhile part one covered Raphael Varane and Donny van de Beek.

Let’s start with Jadon Sancho, and when it comes to that situation, I think most of us are feeling like the refrain from that famous Elvis Presley song “a little conversation, a little more action.” We’ve all been talking, since September that Sancho’s time is up at United at why. We have all known for close to four months that the English international was bolting in January.
A move back to Borussia Dortmund is currently being discussed by both parties, and it wouldn’t be an outright sale, but instead a six month long loan move.
According to multiple reports in both Germany and England (Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany appears to be first), talks are in an advanced stage, and it’s just a matter of finding agreement on a loan fee for the wayward winger.
How quickly the two sides can move towards striking a deal will determine how rapidly this gets finalized and over the line.
There seems to be some conflicting reports out there about how close to that point we are right now.

We now shift from a player that most United fans will tell you had a very poor attitude to one that almost all supporters would say had a great, very professional attitude.
United have decided to end their loan deal for Sergio Reguilon early.
He now goes back to Tottenham Hotspur, who will reportedly look to immediately loan him out again, elsewhere, or just sell him outright.

Reguilon was an 11th hour summer transfer window panic buy, as a means to paper over the cracks at the left back position, which has been in injury crisis most of the season. Luke Shaw is back, but Tyrell Malacia remains out. Reguilon did his job, and fit his role well while he was here.
It’s hard not to wish the best for him right now, and moving forward.
