If being a pundit is the next move for Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs, then he’s got plenty of work to do. Despite serving as the #2 under Louis van Gaal the past two seasons, and filling in as caretaker Manager once David Moyes was sacked, there is no managerial job right now for Giggs right now.
After Jose Mourinho took over as Red Devils boss, there was no right fit for Giggs at Old Trafford, and hence he ended his 29 year relationship with the club.
Giggs appeared on Sky Sports’ first Friday Night Football of the season, and while he certainly had his good moments, it went a bit rough. Not only did he use a dull, predictable cliche twice, but he terribly butchered it both times.
He meant to say war of attrition, but instead said war of nutrition. Have a look at the video below:

Ryan Giggs said: “If you’re going to challenge for four trophies then you’ve got to have a squad. And at the moment we’ve got a really strong squad I think, you’ve got so many options. This team, I guarantee you, will not be the team at the end of the season.
“To win the Premier League is a war of nutrition, through the winter months, the Christmas period.
“Yeah I do. I think they’ve got a huge chance because of the options they’ve got. And, like I say, to win the Premier League is a war of nutrition.
“You need a squad. very rarely, especially when you’re in Europe and you wan to go on a cup run, you need a squad and to freshen it up. The biggest problem Jose has got is keeping these players happy.”
