Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford may be linked in transfer rumors, and struggling for regular first team appearances, but he’s still a finalist for PFA Young Player of the Year. The Manchester native was joined on the short list, announced Saturday, by Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon, and a triad of Manchester City men-
Ederson, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.

Manchester City may have currently lost three in a row, but that shouldn’t detract from what an amazing season they have had. The fact that half the short list is City players (and half the player of the year short list as well) certainly speaks to their elite campaign.
Kane also landed on the player of the year list, so while he may be a dark horse for that award, he still maintains an outside chance of claiming a rare season individual award double in 2017-18. What an amazing feat that would be for the young Englishman.
