Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is one of the club’s main vocal leaders. After the whole David de Gea “is he staying or not?” drama turned tedium concluded, Mata was the main conduit for his countryman to the public when De Gea was not interested in doing media appearances.
It was just another example of the great media skills possessed by Juan Mata. You can also see these skills in his blog, which he frequently updates during the season.
Media is definitely a rout Mata could go once his playing career is over.
Or even sooner maybe, as the Spaniard somewhat joked with Gary Lineker about taking his job as the host of the Premier League Show.
Juan Mata guested on the show this week and when asked what he’d like to do after football, Mata replied:
“I would love to present Match of the Day.”
