As Manchester United prepare to host Huddersfield Town tomorrow, midfielder Marouane Fellaini is now at the top of the injury concern list. He limped out of Wednesday night’s loss at Tottenham Hotspur after playing just seven minutes in relief of Paul Pogba.
Reports say he might need surgery, and if so, could be out eight weeks. We could find out more on Friday.
In the meantime, go to this link for more about this situation. Defender Eric Bailly remains out as he continues recovering from ankle surgery, while Daley Blind (also ankle issues) may return after he stayed back at Carrington training ground in midweek to continue rehabilitation.
Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, consistently linked with MLS transfer rumors, is still working on recovering from knee issues that arose in relation to the ACL damage he suffered last year.
On the flip side, the Terriers will be without the services of Shaun Malone (knock), Jon Stankovic (knee) and Scott Malone (knock) are all out.
