On 21 September 2016, Isak’s 17th birthday, then with AIK i, he scored twice in their huge 3-0 derby win over arch rivals Djurgรฅrden. He was later described by teammate, Chinedu Obasi, as “Sweden’s new Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”
That noted, Isak also shows patience. He does not always rush forward like a meteor. If there isnโt enough room for maneuvers, then he simply steps back without wasting any space. This quality makes him an exceptional team player, and he’s been worth every penny of the 10 million that Dortmund spend on him.
Internationally, he has the major accomplishment of being the youngest goal-scorer in the history of Swedish football.
