Manchester United superstar Angel Di Maria has verbally expressed his desire to remain at Old Trafford for a very long time.
According to the Daily Star, Angel Di Maria is eyeing a move away from Manchester United, with former suitors Paris St-Germain uppermost in his thoughts.
Well, the Argentine winger has shot that report down:
“It was a very big moment in my career,” the former Benfica midfielder said. (Daily Express)
“Leaving a club like Real and coming to as big a club as Manchester United makes you grow as a player and helps you progress in your career.
“It was a very important moment and I’m really happy here.
“Let’s hope things go well for me so I can be here for many years.”
Angel di Maria was the record signing for not just the club, but all of the Premier League at £59.7 million this past summer. So the idea that he would be on the move already. That report, just didn’t “pass the smell test” so to speak.
