Erling Haaland had an injury scare over the international break, but he was passed fit to face Liverpool yesterday, and he scored Manchester City’s only goal as the two titans of English football played to a stalemate. While the City squad is starting to get much more fit now, they still have three fitness concerns heading into Tuesday night’s clash versus RB Leipzig, in the form of Jack Grealish, Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes.

Kovacic missed out of the score draw with Liverpool due to a thigh injury, and thus, he’s a major doubt here. Grealish missed the match as well, due to an unspecified illness. He’s a minor doubt for this one. As for Nunes, he missed the international break, and the Liverpool match, due to an unspecified muscular injury. He’s a strong doubt here.
Finally, Kevin de Bruyne remains out for the longer-term with a hamstring injury. We posted an in-depth piece yesterday detailing when he might be back.
