This weekend provides another chance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United to respond, and with that response, perhaps even more validation of his managerial chops. Solskjaer has certainly proven himself well beyond worthy of the job, but it will be interesting to see how his United bounce back from the first Premier League of his short stint in charge.
United head to Wolverhampton Wanderers for a FA Cup quarterfinal clash on Saturday that’s sold out. Let’s take a look at who Solskjaer might select for his first team in this one.
With Ashley Young suspended, the Norwegian will have to make a change at right back. OGS has stuck with second choice goalkeeper Sergio Romero during this competition, so I don’t expect that to change. The FA Cup might be United’s best shot at a trophy this season, and it’s the competition where we have seen Solskjaer achieve some of his best non-PSG wins.
