Klopp also ruled him out of not just the FA Cup clash earlier today (in which Liverpool beat Arsenal 2-0), but also Wednesday’s League Cup clash versus Fulham
“So, no chance obviously for Sunday, not for Wednesday,” Klopp added.
“No. And then we will see, after that, hopefully, he might be back.” So maybe Szoboszlai will be back for the trip to Bournemouth on Sunday? Stay tuned.
Elsewhere Thiago Alcantara (hip) won’t feature versus Fulham, but he’s getting closer to a recovery. He might also be available
‘I think Thiago will be at one point in team training. He is in a very good moment, but we just have to make sure we don’t use him then too early.’
Elsewhere Andy Robertson (shoulder) is out for the rest of this month, but could be back in early February.
Additionally, Joel Matip (knee) is out for the season while Konstantinos Tsimikas (collarbone) and Stefan Bajcetic (unspecified) are out indefinitely.
Mo Salah and Wataru Endo remain unavailable, as they are currently with their respective national teams at the Africa Cup of Nations
