Mohamed Salah hasn’t exactly been firing on all cylinders this season, but now he might have a bigger problem. While on international duty with Egypt, he limped off early in the Pharaohs 4-1 over Swaziland on Friday night. Now Liverpool have a fitness concern to be sweating about next week when they take on Huddersfield Town in Premier League play.
The good news is that Salah’s injury might not be too serious.
Egypt assistant coach Hany Ramzy told BeIn Sports:
“The initial diagnosis of injury to Salah, according to the Egypt national team medical staff is a strong muscle strain. The injury is not a rupture and I think it is not serious. He will be examined to determine the details, but in my opinion it is not dangerous.”
Before coming off in the 88′, Mohamed Salah scored one of Egypt’s four goals in the victorious Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
