Liverpool heads into Saturday’s match with Hull as healthy as they can be after playing a congested January.
Fans, and Jurgen Klopp for that matter, were worried for a second after the Chelsea match, when Sadio Mane had an ice pack wrapped around his knee. Mane alleviated those concerns post match, saying it was just a precaution after coming back from the African Cup of Nations.
Nathaniel Clyne (ribs) and Jordan Henderson (heel) both played 90 minutes against Chelsea and didn’t re-aggravate the injuries, so they are expect to both be available Saturday. Dejan Lovren also had a slight issue before playing against Chelsea, but came through the game with no additional issues and will be available for Saturday’s clash with Hull.
Ovie Ejaria, Marko Grujic and Danny Ings all remain sidelined with long-term injuries. None of them are expected to be available for the foreseeable future.
According to SkyBet, Liverpool have 4/9 odds to go to Hull and come away with a victory on Saturday. Hull have 11/2 odds to come away with a home victory, while SkyBet offers 10/3 odds for a draw.
Predicted finish: 3-0 Liverpool.
