Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a magnetic personality. Everything he does, he does at an INTENSE, HIGH ENERGY level, and it’s always entertaining. The international break brings down time for everybody, and to fill some of it, Jurgen Klopp played a game of bowls at Holy Trinity Bowling Club.
Bowls is a lot like the Italian game bocce ball. There’s similarities to bowling and croquet too.
Watch this video from Liverpool’s official website, LFC TV, as Klopp makes an unlikely switch from the green turf of Anfield to a local bowling green. He participates in an altogether different type of competition; the game of crown green bowls.
“It’s more difficult than you can imagine!” Klopp said of his game of bowls.
The German takes part in a fiercely competitive doubles match with three very lucky LFC fans; and then chats to his new friends about his first year on Merseyside.
They actually asked him some hard-hitting questions too; including what’s been the low point of your first year in charge of the Reds.
