Gareth Bale scored the kind of goal tonight that makes the announcer calling the game scream at the top of his lungs. Typically, when an announcer is yelling, the play doesn’t quite live up to the hyperbole. This is not one of those times! Bale scored the second goal for Real Madrid, and that would prove to be the game winner in Los Blancos’ 3-1 win over Liverpool that gave the Spanish giants a UEFA Champions League three peat.
Take a look. You gotta see this, and watch it over and over and over again:

Amazing.
Transcendent.
Brilliant.
Gareth Bale would go on to add a second goal, and you can see footage of that below:

The win gives Madrid the first European Cup triumph three peat since Bayern Munich won three in a row from 1974-1976. Real further solidified their reputation as the Reyes Del Europa, (Kings of Europe) as they won their fourth UCL title in the past five years, and 13th overall. The next closest competitor has seven.
