Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho met the media a few minutes hours ago to preview his side’s Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace. Clearly, the most noteworthy portion of the session comes at the 2:27 mark and through to the end of the clip.
That’s when Mourinho discusses injuries and re-classifies the setback to Paul Pogba as “long term,” and in the same category as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo.

It sounds like Pogba is doubtful for the epic clash at Liverpool on October 14, but we’ll see. We’ll have an entire article on this development shortly.
Some of the main takeaways from this session:
When asked if he’d looked at the early fixtures as a good opportunity to get points on the board, Jose responded: “No, we have to play against everybody at home and away. When I looked at the fixtures, I only looked to the period of time we have to recover from match to match. It’s the only thing that concerns me.”
When asked how important maintaining a strong mentality against Palace would be, Jose answered: “It is very important. We played Wednesday night and we arrived [in] Manchester [at] 4am, so [we got] home at 5am, and we have to [play] tomorrow, so [our] mentality is [always] very important.”
Odds: Oddschecker backs United at 2/11 to win, while setting odds for a draw at 15/2. The line for a Crystal Palace victory is now at 22/1.
Kickoff: 3:00 pm BST
