Injury wise, Newcastle United continue to be one of the hardest hit sides in the entire Premier League. And that injury crisis doesn’t seem to be alleviating any time soon either, with as many as nine players likely to miss out against Manchester City tomorrow. Only Joelinton (thigh) seems to stand a good chance of coming of IL for this one.
Meanwhile the likes of Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Elliot Anderson (back), Joe Willock (achilles), Callum Wilson (calf) and Harvey Barnes (foot) might be back towards the end of this month/beginning of next month.
