Manchester United winger Ashley Young had a knee injury for the Newcastle match on Sunday due to a knee injury, but he was still on hand to watch the Red Devils’ 3-0 victory. Instead of sitting in the suites or on the sidelines, he decided to hang with the fans in the away section at St. James’ Park.
From Cosby Sweaters:
Young kept a low profile during the match, wearing a hooded jacket, but according to fans, he did sign some autographs and pose for pictures.
It’s not everyday you see one of the biggest stars for one of the most popular clubs in the world sitting among the fans in the nosebleeds, and this guy (pictured above) was clearly surprised to discover that is was indeed Ashley Young sitting next to him.
