Move over Washington Generals, because the Harlem Globetrotters may have a new foil.
It might be Liverpool FC and their Manager Jurgen Klopp, as the German made a remark in his post match press conference last weekend which triggered the basketball entertainment team and trick shot specialists.
Liverpool won 3-2 at Leicester City in Premier League competition last weekend, but again the Reds showcased their serious issues in central defense, and Klopp again was left to lament about his problems in the back line.

In the process he made a reference about the Harlem Globetrotters, and it elicited a hilarious response from the traveling troupe. Yes, we’re talking about a legitimate sport being played at the utmost competitive level, versus an entertainment operation, but still this was a bit of a “sick burn,” as the millenials like to say.
And with a 4,200+ game winning streak going?! No wonder Krusty the Klown thought the Washington Generals were due, and bet against the Harlem Globetrotters on an episode of The Simpsons.
