Midfielder N’Golo Kante is right up there with forward Eden Hazard and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois when it comes to Chelsea star players being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. All three are consistently named as top transfer targets of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The trio have sometimes been linked to Paris Saint-Germain, but a potential move to Spain is the more common narrative for Courtois and Hazard. Chelsea are currently in danger of missing out on Champions League competition next season, as they are on the outside looking in for the top four.
Should the Blues miss out on Europe, we’ll only hear and see more transfer talk in regards to the stellar Chelsea troika. That’s what happens when you have two of the last three PFA Player of the Year recipients. N’Golo Kante addressed the transfer rumor stories head on today, talking about his future to the London Evening Standard:
“I am at home. It is my club, I am a Chelsea player,” Kante is quoted in the publication.
“We will fight until the end to finish in the top four and to get in a Champions League position. We also have the FA Cup to play for – it is a good competition. Last season we failed in the final. It is the only trophy we can win this season, so we have to give everything to get to the final and win it.”
