For the first time since 1994, Arsenal FC will be wearing Adidas next season. Monday saw the north London side announce that they have switched shirt manufacturer partnerships, as their long standing arrangement with Puma comes to an end on July 1, 2019. The new deal is reportedly worth £300 million, as it will pay the club £60 million per over the next five years.
Here is the Tweet from the club’s official account announcing the deal.

That £60 million per season figure is double what the club’s current deal with Puma is worth, and it places them tied for second among all English clubs in shirt partnerships value. Adidas also has a deal with Manchester United, and that’s worth £75 million per season- topping the table in this regard.
Arsenal’s London rival Chelsea match the Gunners in receiving £60m per year, from their partner Nike. Arsenal FC have two more revenue streams originating from their shirt. Fly Emirates pays them over £200 million for five years to be their shirt sponsor while Visit Rwanda pays them over £30 million over three years for a presence on the shirt sleeve.
